Somnium

A 3D animated short film. The film was an official selection at Annecy, OIAF and other top animated film festivals.

This animated short film, which I produced and co-directed, was inspired by ancient creation stories. The film interrogates how in our digital age, when we can connect around the globe, and choose our community, we can construct creation stories that both connect us to the past and are relevant to modern life? We were extremely grateful to receive support from BravoFACT for this film, which went on to be an official selection at the prestigious Annecy International and Ottawa International animation festivals as well as numerous other festivals around the world, before being broadcast on Canadian TV.
